The new Graf Von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2016 embodies the brand’s standard of excellence. The timeless elegance of this writer is inspired from Vieux-Laque Room. This beautiful writing instrument is crafted by using three different elements, brought together to create a harmonious profile. Each piece were first painted in black and burnt by hand to bring out a subtle finish. 24 carat gold powder is sprinkled on different tints of the pen. The result is clearly visible on the pen, and the lacquer work reflects the characteristic and fell of Maki-e (flat lacquer) lacquer work.
This special edition pen is limited to 120 units worldwide. Each individually numbered writing instruments come in a polished, black wooden case and comes with a certificate signed by master craftsman Herbert Stephan.
