For centuries, the goldsmiths of Toledo, Spain  have been celebrated throughout the world for their exquisite craftsmanship.  Following the example of the jewelers of toledo, the barrell of each Pelikan toledo is adorned by Pelikan's master craftsmen, individually and by hand, with a finely tooled design of high artistry. 

The beautiful detail is engraved into a sleeve of solid 925 sterling silver.  The cap, front section and filler knob are crafted from high-grade resin in a show stopping red.  Finally, the nib is 18 K /750 gold, exquistely embellished with rhodium.
