The Montblanc Diplomat 149 Large Medium Fountain Pen. Aptly named the “Papa” of Montblanc fountain pens, the Diplomat 149 is Montblanc’s latest attempt at perfection, and like always, they never disappoint. This legendary pen has a large, hand-crafted 18k gold nib inlaid with platinum. Montblanc’s famous white-star logo is emblazoned on the nib’s front so the pen’s prestige is apparent from the first moment you lay your eyes on it.
