Sailor 1911L Black/Gold Lefty Fountain Pen represents exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The 1911 series was introduced in honor of Sailor’s foundation year. The fountain pens have 21k gold nibs that assure effortless and smooth writing. Sailor 1911L Black/Gold Lefty Fountain Pen comes with resin made body and gold trim that epitomizes quality and elegance. To accommodate left-handed writer, Sailor has fashioned the pen point with a pronounced round shape. Sailor has cut the left side of the pen point. These special pens are sure to enhance the writing performance for the left-hand-writers.
Sailor has made a new design for their nibs. The pens which are produced from January 2022 onwards will have the new-design nib. The difference between the old nib and the new nib:
- New nib does not have '1911' engraved on it
- New design of the anchor
- New design of the "SAILOR" engraving below the anchor
- The 'H' letter (abbreviation of 'Hard') is removed from the nib size indicator on the left side of the new nib
