Enjoy free shipping anywhere in the Continental United States. US Standard Ground Service( we will ship by FedEx or UPS) is free to Pen Boutique customers where the purchase value is more than $50. US ground usually takes 3-7 business days according to the location. ( we ship from Maryland, so California will take at least 5 business days. Please see Fedex zone map for more information at www.fedex.com and UPS zone for www.UPS.COM )Free Shipping offer does not apply on shipments to non-U.S. addresses including Hawaii,Alaska and Puerto Rico. However, Pen Boutique does provide USPS shipping which is very nominal and fast.
Signature Requirement For Deliveries:
If your delivery is over $300 we require a direct signature for delivery regardless of any waivers you have from FedEx®. These requirements are for your protection. Please ensure that you are available to take the delivery or make arrangements to have the item signed. If you want to make any special arrangement then please call us at 1.800.263.2736 Option 2 ( customer service).Expedited Shipping:
If you would like to expedite your shipping then we do have overnight, 2nd day shipping, Express saver (3 day) for additional charge. We do charge nominally and is below the fedex/UPS rates. Saturday delivery is available but please call 1.800.263-A-PEN, so that we can arrange it accordingly. Saturday delivery does cost more than standard overnight and only priority overnight can be done. These rates will be given to you after we check the actual amount.
For Hawaii and Puerto Rico residents, we do have USPS shipping option, so that you can have a cost effective way of shipping. ( compared to FedEx which has only FedEx 2nd day and FedEx Priority Overnight).
Delivery Times:
Delivery times can vary for each product based on the delivery location and the size of the product. Some products with higher amount(Usually $1000 and above. This is set by your bank to do the extra verification for your safety) will need additional authentication as per our Maxmind score and bank suggests for each transaction. But most of the products, we try to ship it out in 1 -2 business day( orders place on website or over the phone ). We process a lot of orders in a day and in some seasons ( especially holidays) we might have a slight delay in processing. By calculating an estimated delivery date, you can easily determine what shipping method will best ensure your package gets to the desired location in time.
Due to the size of some products like big jewelry boxes, ground shipping may be the only shipping method available.
How is my total delivery time determined?The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how the Total Delivery Time is broken down into pre-ship processing time and shipping time.
Pre-Ship Processing Time is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. We usually ship items within 1 - 2 business days ( Monday - Friday). Products with engraving or additional customization do have an extra pre-processing time of 5-7 business days. We get the high end pens like Montblanc, Cartier engraving done by them to keep the warranty in-tact.
Shipping time is measured from when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your home or office.
