A Good Test Ink !
Waterman Serenity Blue (formerly called Florida Blue) is a great all-around go-to ink. It is moderately wet and causes absolutely NO problems for either antique or new fountain pens. It is a great test ink to determine if your nib is having problems (hard starts, skipping, etc.) and you want to narrow the problem down to either nib or ink. Very easy to clean-up with no staining. I use this straight and also to make up a batch of Binder Blurple ( same color as PR Tanzanite without all the ex-lax problems PR Tanzanite is known for.)

Our return policy day is 30 days from the date of delivery. Please enclose a copy of your invoice and include all original packaging and literature. We will gladly give you a credit, exchange or refund, less shipping charges . If you receive a defective item we send you the shipping label/email return label to send it back to us. Please call us to make the FedEx/UPS Return label. For international orders, the refund will be made only in US dollars. We are not responsible for the exchange rate differences.
Fountain Pen Return Policy
Fountain pens are special and once filled it is very difficult to resell the item when returned. When you purchase a fountain pen, it is recommended that you test drive it with dipping the nib in the ink. If you use the cartridges supplied with the pen or if you fill it with ink, then in order for us to resell, we have to send it to the manufacturer's repair facility. We want to make sure that all of our customers when they buy from us get a brand new pen which is not used. Hence, we will charge you a nominal restocking fee of 10% to accommodate these repair and shipping charges to manufacturer's repair facility. We then sell these pens in our outlet store. Please note that the restocking fee is only for fountain pen which is filled with the ink. If you have any questions please do contact us.

Saturday delivery does cost more than standard overnight and only priority overnight can be done. These rates will be given to you after we check the actual amount.
For Hawaii and Puerto Rico residents, we have USPS shipping option, so that you can have a cost effective way of shipping. Delivery times can vary for each product based on the delivery location and the size of the product. Some products with higher amount(Usually $1000 and above. This is set by your bank to do the extra verification for your safety) will need additional authentication as per our Maxmind score and bank suggests for each transaction. But most of the products, we try to ship it out in 1 -2 business day( orders place on website or over the phone. International shipping times varies due to the need of extended verification ). We process a lot of orders in a day and in some seasons ( especially holidays) we might have a slight delay in processing. By calculating an estimated delivery date, you can easily determine what shipping method will best ensure your package gets to the desired location in time. Due to the size of some products like big jewelry boxes, ground shipping may be the only shipping method available.
How is my total delivery time determined?
The total delivery time for your order is calculated from the time your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how the Total Delivery Time is broken down into pre-ship processing time and shipping time.
Pre-Ship Processing Time is the time it takes from when you submit your order to when the product leaves the warehouse. We usually ship items within 1 - 2 business days ( Monday - Friday) for in-stock items. Products with engraving or additional customization do have an extra pre-processing time of 5-7 business days. We get the high end pens like Montblanc, Cartier engraving done by them to keep the warranty in-tact. In case of shipment delays, we will intimate you via email or phone. Items which are valued more than $500 may require additional verification and might delay the order. We will contact you quickly in case of delays.
