Field Notes celebrates its Tenth anniversary sending out 3-pack memo books to its subscribers. One is 2002: Old Red, a small notebook with a red-leather textured hard cover created by Aaron Draplin. The anniversary version is matte-foil-stamped in white on red Mohawk Carnival 90# cover stock with a cordwain texture with 32 black pages. Another is 2005: First Field Notes, a bit taller and narrower that are hand printed, hand-bound and hand-numbered by Aaron himself. The cover design is packed with Draplin Design Co. printing and design wisdom. The memo book features French “Speckletone Kraft” 100# cover, and 32 pages of old school graph paper. The third book is 2007: Field Notes Brand’s First Test Run features 32 pages and two staples with cover confounding ‘’No_of_”. After ten years the new version is like older version with 80# French Packing Brown Wrap covers, 60# finch body with a light gray graph and the logo atop each page. Celebrate with Field Notes.
