Great pen, but a word on the finish.

This is a great pen, nice weight, smooth writing. The finish is noticeably different from the pictures made available by Montegrappa. The service from Pen Boutique was great, but the images that accompany the listing appear to be supplied by Montegrappa, since they are used in other listings I saw online. The true finish of the Ducale Murano pens is much more striped that what is shown. This pen, for instance, does have the dark brown shown in the picture, but also heavy stripes of light silver and other areas where it appears black. It still looks nice, but noticeably different from what Montegrappa shows in their marketing images.
