Celebrating the art of sailing, the Monteverde Regatta Series fountain pen is divided into seven segments of alternating carbon fiber resin and rose gold knurled diamond-cut rings. The top of the cap bears the Monteverde logo and is magnetically secured. A nautical regatta is a race where yachts proudly fly their flags, and this is surely a writing instrument to be proud to own. This heavy fountain pen fits comfortably in the hand and takes standard international cartridges.

I love this fountain pen. Beautiful craftmanship. Love the combination of the rose gold and black together. The black nib is also a great addition. I have no regrets. Smooth writing and has a good weight to it without being overwhelming.
I have to admit I bought it with a certain degree of mistrust because I didn’t know the brand but with a little help of Google research I found out Monteverde is a great brand. So I got the pen today because my cousin came to Argentina (I’m from Argentina, BTW), and when I unboxed it I was shocked by the amazing quality of the pen. Awesome colors, carbon fiber pattern, and weight. I am so excited to get more of Monteverde products! Do not hesitate and get one of these, you won’t regret it
I appreciate the time and craftsmanship that goes into the Regatta pen line, and this pen is one of those! The rose gold trim is a nice contrast to the carbon fiber body, which is always a cool touch whenever pens are able to have a modern, yet distinguished look! The pen nib and piston filler system functions quite well, and I appreciate the screw-in converter versus one that you just push into the pen – to me, the screw-in converter feels more secure for filling this pen with ink than the standard international ones. With the durability and craft of the Regatta pens comes the weight of it on my hand – I have really small hands, and having many a lightweight fountain pen, this one usually weighs down on my hand after long writing periods, but without the cap posted, it is much easier to write with it. But I still prefer that it be a durable and heavier pen than one that is likely to break, so this pen is still awesome for how long it will last me! Overall, a great buy! Customer service was very good, too!
Recently I purchased four Monteverde fountain pens as gifts for friends who dwell on language lovingly. A fine pen is a deeply personal instrument that imparts exquisite pleasure. You use ten fingers to bang on a keyboard. You use only only three fingers to caress a fountain pen. On meaningful occasions, you need a fine pen at your disposal. For the life of me I can't think of a better gift than a fine writing instrument -- especially one purchased from The Pen Boutique -- for anyone who revels in the ancient mystery, timeless thrill and childhood wonder of using fresh ink to scroll words onto bond paper.
