Pilot Vanishing Point, Extra Fine

Delightful. I love how easy and quick it is to begin/end writing. All my other pens require a few rotations and complete removal of the cap -- with the VP, I just press the button with one hand. The nib is very smooth and lays a nice reliable line. Product shipment was swift and all the questions I had were answered courteously and completely. Customer service was top notch. I will definitely do business with Penboutique again in the future!

a good Cursive Italic

I was expecting a stub nib that I could have custom ground in a cursive italic that would fit in my pilot decimo, but was surprised to find that this nib was quite sharp as is. It works well as a cursive italic, with the problem that it can be very picky about the angle you hold it at. if you are slightly off of the sweet spot, it will have a tiny bit of hard starting (think .1mm or so) but when held properly it's a dream. when held at higher angles, it actually has a brushlike feel, with the soft nib (note: does not provide significant line variation when pressed)
