Sailor writing instruments in Mini Slim version!
The Sailor Pen Professional Gear Slim Mini (or affectionately known as the “Sapporo Mini”) was discontinued from the North American market almost 10 years ago. Limited quantities were later produced exclusively for the Japanese market. But now it’s back in North America and better than ever! Available in six exciting new and modern colors with gold trim and fitted with a 14K Medium Fine (MF) Gold nib.
As a refresher, the Professional Gear Slim Mini is a shorter version of the Professional Gear Slim. When capped, the Slim Mini is 106 mm in length - or 18 mm shorter than the Slim. However, when posted, it is only 11 mm shorter. This pen proves to be a perfect choice for those who desire a compact size pen to fit a small purse or shallow pocket, and want the quality and feel of a slim-sized Professional Gear for pure writing performance.
**Important Note** - Due to its shorter size, this pen is not suitable for use with a standard converter and therefore does not come with one. Use only standard Sailor cartridge.
Enjoy the lucrative ✍writing journey using Sailor pens!
Sailor has made a new design for their nibs. The pens which are produced from January 2022 onwards will have the new-design nib. The difference between the old nib and the new nib:
- New nib does not have '1911' engraved on it
- New design of the anchor
- New design of the "SAILOR" engraving below the anchor
- The 'H' letter (abbreviation of 'Hard') is removed from the nib size indicator on the left side of the new nib
Depending on the availability of our stock, you may receive the old Sailor nib design or the new Sailor nib.
