Tanto is a new addition to Taccia's line of writing instruments. This fine collection honors Japanese samurai men who were once considered as a symbol of royalty, diligence, righteousness, and justice. The word "Tanto" represents a short sword used by samurais as a weapon of self-defense. Tanto writing instruments feature an ebonite barrel coated with a layer of Japanese Urushi lacquer. The body of the pen is accompanied by a stingray leather cap, sterling silver sword pin ornament and a 14kt gold nib with rhodium plating. These fine writers are available in two subtle finishes Moonlit Black and Crimson Red. Only 100 pieces of each model are offered worldwide.
