The Black Water Dragon is the eighteenth in the David Oscarson series of Limited Edition, limited to only 88 pieces (including fountain pen and rollerball pen). Available in two primary color variations. Dating back to 3000 BC, the Chinese Dragon represents good fortune. It also symbolizes power, happiness, immorality, procreation, fertility and activity. The Chinese year 2012 is Water Dragon year. In Chinese astrology, Water Dragon is considered less selfish and opinionated than other four Dragons (Metal, Wood, Fire and Earth). The Black Water Dragon collection is produced adding multiple levels of guilloche engraving and combination of translucent and opaque hard enamel. The pen body is first cut down to the level of the background, leaving the ancient Chinese symbol for water in either a mid or high relief. The fountain pens are fitted with two tone 18k gold nib and takes cartridge/converter for refills.
