The pen cap elegantly carries the Winged Disk of Horus, which is inlaid with multiple colors of opaque hard enamel. Each pen cap is crowned with the face of an original Egyptian coin portraying an image of Ptolemy V during his reign; and the base of the clip is decorated with symbol of the Ankh representing the concept of eternal life.
