I got a Lamy 2000 Fountain pen some time ago, it’s great. Just don’t put Noodler’s lubricated eel inks in a broad nib. They’re way too wet. Anyway, I decided to get a Lamy 2000 Makrolon collection. Pen Boutique had the best price on the Lamy 2000 Pencil, even compared to Amazon, and European merchants not charging VAT. The pencil arrived on time, and in good shape. I wrote a three page letter with the pencil. It is light, and fits my medium sized hands well. I did break the Lamy lead it ships with three times while writing the letter. If you are heavy handed, like me, I’d recommend getting either Uni Nano Dia or Pentel Ain Stein lead to go with your new, expensive pencil.
The pencil is well made, balanced and fits in my hand well.
