Montblanc Fountain Pen - Writers Edition - Kipling

SKU: MB_119863

Regular price $4,080.00

The Limited Edition 1895 Kipling Writers Edition Fountain Pen evokes the story of Kipling's Jungle Book with the quality of a Montblanc writing instrument.

The Kipling Rollerball takes its main inspiration from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. The pen's design is inspired by various characters from his most famous book, and its clip is influenced by the wolf pack of the narrative. The forepart is engraved with Kipling's handwritten initials R.K. The beginning and end of his iconic poem "If" can also be seen engraved on the cap top and cone ring.

English poet and author Rudyard Kipling was born in India in 1865 and spent his early life there. This experience inspired much of his work, including his best-remembered novel, The Jungle Book. Kipling enjoyed a prolific writing career, and his children's books are revered as literary classics. He also became the first Englishman to be awarded a Nobel Prize in Literature. Kipling's essence is caught in this smooth Montblanc's body for any fountain pen user!
