A unique splendor, a true classic in black model and silver trim writing instrument, the Pelikan Souveran M405 pens!
In the year 1929 Pelikan was the first company in the world to introduce the differentiated piston mechanism. This technique causes the spindle inside the fountain pen to turn quicker than the end piece of the barrel, with the help of two different threads. To this date, this fountain pen exists in many different variations, and though it has been developed in design and technical details over time, the basic mechanism remains the same.
A black and silver version was launched in 2002, in the style of the black model of the 1980's. With the body also made of high-grade resin, it consists of a transparent green view window, too. However, instead of the gold plating, a palladium plating give this Souverän pen in black and silver its characteristic.
The models of the this special edition – fountain pens (nib widths F, M and B), are real collectibles and only available for a limited time.
