Pelikan Souveran M405 Stresemann Fountain Pen is dedicated to the foreign minister of the Weimar Republic Gustav Stresemann who was honored with his French colleague Aristide Briand with the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1926. The pen barrel is made with anthracite stripes of cellulose acetate whereas the black colored parts are resin made. The rings and clip are palladium plated. The fountain pen nib is made of rhodium plated 14k gold. Each single piece is hand crafted and checked for precise finish and quality.
