Fountain pens are special, and once filled, they are difficult to resell upon return. When purchasing a fountain pen, it is recommended that you test it by dipping the nib in ink. If you use the supplied cartridges or fill it with ink, we must send the pen to the manufacturer's repair facility to resell it. We want to ensure all our customers receive a brand-new, unused pen. Therefore, we charge a nominal 20% restocking fee to cover repair and shipping costs to the manufacturer's repair center. These pens are then resold in our outlet store. Please note that the restocking fee applies only to fountain pens that have been filled with ink. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Collectors appreciate the Silvern Ishidatami for its architectural precision and understated luxury. Rather than relying on bold ornamentation, it conveys elegance through craftsmanship, texture, and meaningful Japanese artistic influence.

For both experienced fountain pen collectors and those discovering luxury Japanese writing instruments for the first time, the Silvern Ishidatami represents a timeless expression of refinement and personal style.

Craftsmanship & Design Inspiration
The term Ishidatami refers to traditional Japanese stone pathways composed of carefully arranged flat stones often found within tranquil garden landscapes and temple grounds. These geometric pathways symbolize order, movement, and harmony with nature.

Pilot translates this visual language into sterling silver through meticulously engraved patterns that echo the arrangement of stonework while creating subtle dimensionality across the pen’s surface. The engraved texture interacts beautifully with light, giving the Silvern Ishidatami a sophisticated presence that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in Japanese tradition.

Within the Silvern Collection, the Ishidatami model is especially admired for its intricate detailing and quiet elegance — a refined interpretation of Japanese garden aesthetics through the art of fine writing instruments.
